Description
The Betsy Ross flag is an early design of the United States flag. The flag is often — though not conclusively — credited to early American upholsterer and flag maker Betsy Ross. The flag features 13 red-and-white stripes and a circle of 13 stars on a blue field in the upper left corner of the canton. The number 13 represents the 13 colonies that fought for independence from England during the American Revolutionary War.
