Description
Texas flags are famous for their single white star, also known as the Lone Star flag, giving rise to the well-known moniker of Texas as “the
Lone Star State.” Adopted in 1839, the flag of Texas is one of two State flags that was once used as a national flag (the other is Hawaii). The Lone Star stands for unity under God, State and Country. The blue stands for loyalty, the white for purity, and the red for bravery.
